Stay
Itinerary
DAY 1 — LIJIANG → SHANGRI-LA | 200 KM: Private airport welcome in Lijiang; cross the Jinsha River via the Lijiang–Shangri-La highway; settle into Songsam Shangri-La Linka.
DAY 2 — SHANGRI-LA | 70 KM: Visit Ganden Sumtseling Monastery; share a meal in a Tibetan home; explore Dukezong Ancient Town and its prayer wheel.
DAY 3 — SHANGRI-LA → TACHENG | 120 KM: View Napa Lake and search for black-necked cranes; travel via Nixi to the Jinsha River; arrive at Songsam Tacheng Lodge.
DAY 4 — TACHENG: Observe Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys in the national park; visit Bodhidharma Cave; spend an evening with a Naxi family in Hada Village.
DAY 5 — TACHENG → MEILI | 200 KM: Travel through Weixi; visit Tongle, a Lisu village; follow the Lancang River gorge to Songsam Meili Lodge.
DAY 6 — MEILI & MINGYONG GLACIER | 110 KM: Await the Golden Sunrise; walk toward Mingyong Glacier and Taizi Temple; visit a Tibetan family.
DAY 7 — MEILI → SHANGRI-LA | 160 KM: Cross Baimang Snow Mountain; see the Jinsha River Great Bend; return via Benzilan on the Tea Horse Road.
DAY 8 — SHANGRI-LA → LIJIANG | 270 KM: Discover Baishuitai’s white limestone terraces; visit Tiger Leaping Gorge; celebration dinner in Lijiang.
DAY 9 — LIJIANG: Private transfer to Lijiang Sanyi Airport; onward journey home.

This is a high-altitude, remote-terrain journey; guests should seek medical advice where appropriate and arrange insurance with high-altitude emergency coverage.
