Wang Ying is the director of Galerie Ying, founded in Beijing in 2012. The gallery collaborates with artists worldwide, presenting works across printmaking and oil painting. In 2021, Galerie Ying launched a new art space in Jingdezhen, the global capital of porcelain. Jingdezhen’s Handicraft Porcelain Heritage was officially inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in July 2026. This local space exhibits and sells artworks by both Chinese and international ceramic artists. As a fourth-generation descendant of the renowned Wang Yeting famille-rose (fencai) porcelain lineage in Jingdezhen, Wang Ying brings a deep-rooted ceramic heritage to her practice. Beyond ceramic exhibitions hosted by the gallery, she has developed a one-week Jingdezhen Ceramic Art Journey. This program invites art enthusiasts from around the world to immerse themselves in the city’s culture and its remarkable ceramic art legacy.
